The international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews, and has appeared on numerous national television shows. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments - matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps - to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms. Stomp is a unique theatrical experience: a combination of percussion, movement and physical comedy, it's official premiere was at the Edinburgh Festival in the summer of 91. Over the last eleven years it has grown to become one of the most successful Off Broadway shows of all time, and has broken box office records throughout the world. TV performances include both the Oscars and the Emmys ceremonies and America's Millenium on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. There are now 5 companies worldwide: New York, San Francisco and London, with touring productions based in both the US and in Europe.
